Abstract

Diabetes is a chronic disease that is featured by an increase in the blood glucose levels, and at times, . Current drug is a newer drug that is synthesized to control the blood sugar levels post meals. The most tangible problems that are concurrent with the use of is its very low solubility and thereby causing little dose inconsistency. Various methods have been developed through the years to improve the dissolution of the drug. One of those methods is the concept of . These are colloidal suspensions of drugs particles that are stabilized by . are defined as dual systems that contain a pure drug which is dispersed in a polar vehicle with a diameter of the particle, which is less than 1 in size. was adopted to improve the solubility of to enhance its dissolution rate and absorption. As per the results, it can be said that the of were prepared and represented as a promising new formulation for oral delivery. study in pH 1.2 phosphate buffer showed that the prepared formulations have a better drug release when compared to the pure drug.
