Abstract
The present study aimed to examine the effectiveness of monotheistic integration group therapy on anxiety, de-pression and quality of life of the patients with multiple sclerosis. It was a semi-experimental study with pre- and post-test. The statistical population consisted of 20 patients with multiple sclerosis in Bandar Abbas City. The indi-viduals were selected using a convenience sampling method and were randomly assigned to two experimental and control groups. The participants were examined using Beck Anxiety Inventory, Beck Depression Inventory and the World Health Organization Quality of Life Questionnaire in both pre-test and post-test. The participants in the experimental group received monotheistic integration group therapy. The control group received no intervention. The results of univariate analysis of covariance showed that anxiety (F = 10.10, P < 0.01) and depression (F = 8.64, P < 0.01) and quality of life (F = 12.98, P < 0.01) were significant.
