Abstract

Background: Breastfeeding is one the issues which has been considered in Karan and also it gains more signifi- cance in medical science. The God on high has emphasized on the kind of nutrition with mothers’ milk in verse 233 of Baqara surah: کا حو ملین اوالد لین ی هن والوالدا رضعن ت ((and mothers should breast feed their babies for 2 years)) .Although Quranic verses are higher than they are can formed with the limited empirical science, but the studies try to examine the Quranic advices form the standpoint of medical science. Evidence Acquisitions: Quran and Had- iths were used as the sources and medical science resources have been used in order to adapt and check the sci- entific aspects of nutrition with mothers’ milk. We used the sites like Scopus, PubMed and etc. to provide articles. Results: the medical science resources stress that mothers should breast –feed their babies at least for two years. According to the studies, nutrition with mothers’ milk decreases catching infectious diseases, increases the babies self-confidence, declines economic a expenses, decreases the mothers’ metabolic diseases and kidney diseases while increases the child’s intelligence quotient. Few decades ago, mother trended to feed their babies with milk and supplemental food, but now a days, due to mothers awareness form nutritional value of mothers’ milk, they have turned to it , so that the literate mothers breast-feed their babies with their milk more than illiterate ones . in the early 1970s ,in developing counties ,nutrition with milk accompanied by the increased rate of mortality in children, that was due to catching infectious diseases and malnutrition. Conclusion: according to Qurans’ empha- sis on nutrition with mothers. Milk for two first years of life, to day ,medical science consider the mothers ‘milk as the best food for babies and it finds no nutrient as good and suitable substitution (alternative) for it. Mothers’ knowingly reference to nutrition with their milk rather than past time support our studies.
