Abstract

The goal Investigate relationship between thinking styles with social anxiety in students of Islamic Azad University of Zahedan branch. The method used for thisresearchis descriptive-correlation.The statistical population includes 1500 male and female students aged 19 to 25.Using a Morgantable, it selected 375 peoples randomly.It was used 2 Inventors namely Thinking Styles Inventory of Sternberg and Wagner(1992) and AnxietySocialInventory of Wat- sonand theFriend.The data wereanalysis byIndexStatistics such asMean,Pearson Correlation Factor and regres- sion.The results showed that there is a significant positive relationship between thinking styles with social anxiety sothere is a significant positive relationship between executive, judicial and conservative thinking styles with social anxiety butthere is a significant negative relationship between legal thinking stylewith liberal thinking style. Judi- cial thinking style had the most predictable about social anxiety.
