Abstract
The current study is carried out to specify effects of lifestyle skills training on marital life satisfaction and marital conflicts of female teachers of Isfahan. The method of the study is semi-experimental (pre-post-test) with control group. Samples of the study include 30 female teachers (high school teacher) of region 5 of the Isfahan who were selected by random and replaced into two groups of test and control. The dependent variables are marital satis- faction and conflict which were evaluated by Enrich marital satisfaction scale questionnaire and Barati and Sanai- ee marital satisfaction questionnaires. The independent variable is lifestyle skills training which were taught to the test group in 8 sessions. The Covariance analysis method was used for checking hypothesizes of the study. Results showed lifestyle skills training decreased personality, communication, intercourse, child rearing, friends and family conflicts but it had no meaningful effect on decrease of cooperation, intercourse, increase of emotional reactions and child support, personal relationship with family and friends but it had meaningful effect on separating finance affairs from each other . Results show lifestyle skills can increase satisfied relationships between couples and their conflicts.
