Phytochemical screening and in-vitro antioxidant activity of herbomineral compound named trushanaadiloha

Abstract

The formulation TRUSHANAADILOHA is a mixture of fourteen drugs. All drugs used in this formulation are from different parts of plant sources. The mixture of different 14 drugs was extracted with ethanol and evaluated for antioxidant activity. The in-vitro antioxidant activity ehanolic extract has been investigated by 1, 1-diphenyl, 2- picryl–hydrazyl free radical (DPPH), hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂), reducing power assay and nitric oxide scavenging methods. The ethanol extract has showing antioxidant activity. The results have been compared with the standard ascorbic acid.
