Abstract
Pterocarpus marsupium is important medicinal plant widely distributed throughout India. The plant is traditionally used for various disease like diabetes, angina, cancer and used as cardiotonic, brain tonic etc., many researchers were isolated several active principle like flavonoids, terpenoids and reported its pharmacological activity. The present review aimed to describe the phytochemical and pharmacological aspects of Pterocarpus marsupium.
