Abstract
Polymers are macromolecules consisting of repeating units of monomers. The monomers are linked together to form polymers. The drugs are encapsulated in the polymer and are delivered into brain. In this review article, types of polymers and the polymers used for brain drug delivery are discussed. The polymers used for brain drug delivery should be non-toxic in nature. This review focuses the role of polymers in brain drug delivery.
