Abstract
Drug formulations of many new chemical entities are challenges for industry in the dissolution and bioavailability, because of poor aqueous solubility of active pharmaceutical ingredients. To improve the aqueous solubility amongst the method available for reducing the particle size of drug nanoparticle are one which is effective in in- creasing the active surface area and not only improves the bioavailability and also helps in targeting the drugs to tissues and organs. Moreover nanoparticulate drug can be formulated in various route of administrations oral, parentral, ocular, pulmonary drug delivery system.
