Abstract
The free radical scavenging activity of the seeds of C. halicacabum was studied by using different antioxidant models. All the extracts showed good dose-dependent free radical scavenging property in all the models at tested doses (25-1000 g/1ml). Thus augmenting the wide use of plant in the indigenous system of medicine, which may partly be due to antioxidant and free radical scavenging activity of the extracts.
